About us
Advanced UV laser systems around the globe
For more than 20 years, CryLas GmbH has been at the cutting edge of development and production of UV continuous wave and Q-switched solid-state lasers.
Over the last two decades, our laser systems have been built to fulfill the highest standards of quality, performance and lifetime to make them the ideal choice for industrial operations and sophisticated research projects.
As an established and trusted partner for our customers, our goal is to explore and unlock the innovation potential of UV light. With our advanced laser systems and solutions, we enable our customer base to continually extend their application possibilities and drive innovation. In 2022, we extended these innovation possibilities by adding actively Q-switched laser systems to our existing portfolio of passively Q-switched and narrow linewidth cw lasers.

Products & Services
The product portfolio of CryLaS includes:
Continuous Wave Laser Series
CryLaS offers deep UV continuous-wave lasers at 266 nm, with output powers ranging from 10 mW to 1200 mW. These lasers are designed for applications such as semiconductor wafer inspection, UV Raman spectroscopy, optical metrology, Fiber Bragg Grating writing, photoelectron spectroscopy, and fundamental research.
Pulsed Laser Series
CryLaS develops passively Q-switched pulsed lasers operating at 213 nm, 266 nm, 355 nm, 532 nm, and 1064 nm, featuring pulse widths of around 1 ns and pulse energies from µJ up to 3 mJ. With their very compact design, these lasers are ideal for MALDI-TOF, UV photodissociation, marking of transparent materials, ophthalmic applications, Raman spectroscopy, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), biological tissue cutting in microscopy, photoluminescence, photoacoustic measurements, and as pump sources for dye and semiconductor lasers.
CryLaS also offers actively Q-switched pulsed lasers at 266 nm, 355 nm, 532 nm, and 1064 nm, with pulse widths from 5 ns to 20 ns, pulse energies in the mJ range, average powers up to 50 W, and repetition rates up to 200 kHz. These lasers are suited for MALDI-TOF, glass marking, material processing, and scientific research.
Quality and Performance
CryLaS lasers combine excellent beam quality, long-term stability, and low noise with a compact design, exceptional workmanship, and superior product quality.
Continuous Wave Laser Series – FQCW – 266 nm – 10 mW – 1200 mW Output Power
The FQCW266 Continuous Wave Laser Series is a high-performance deep-UV laser system designed for demanding industrial and scientific applications, including Raman spectroscopy, lithography, wafer inspection, and more. With DUV output powers ranging from 10 mW to 1200 mW, it is engineered for reliable 24/7 industrial operation, making it an excellent choice for OEM customers in the semiconductor sector. At the same time, its industry-leading specifications also make it ideally suited for advanced research and development environments.
Pulsed Laser Series – Compact Q-Switched DPSS Lasers – Wavelengths down to 213 nm
CryLaS’ pulsed laser sources are based on diode-pumped solid-state technology and feature either passive or active Q-switching. Depending on the application, four different product lines (High Power, eMOPA, AQ, Q) with wavelengths of 213 nm, 266 nm, 355 nm, 532 nm, and 1064 nm are available for straightforward system integration. Each laser source is supplied with a control unit, power supply, and software.
Our pulsed lasers have a long-standing track record in both industrial and scientific settings. They are particularly valued for their high reliability, especially for OEM applications.
