About us
dopa is focused on the development and production of diamond tooling, process development and our own production of high precision plano substrates. We offer a wide range of optics, including laser optics made from MgF2 and CaF2, and high capabilities in sapphire processing, metrology and surface processing technologies. This year’s new products are fully numeric controllable machines for grinding and polishing. Our Optics department is now able to offer Optics and precision components with complex shapes such as light weighting, holes and other features. We increased our precision polishing and measurement capabilities. We are able to offer parts with accuracies better than λ/20 and sub arc sec accuracies. We are your partner for turn-key-solutions containing machines, tools and processes.

Diamond Tools
With more than 30 years of expertise, we have been producing diamond tools for processing surfaces of most diverse materials. Our dopa tools and technologies are designed to create precision optics and parts that meet highest requirements in clearance, flatness and parallelism while maintaining high removal rates (MRR). This leads to significantly reduced polishing times during the following process steps and enhances the quality of the products, as well as the process stability significantly.
Single- and double-sided Machines
We develop, design and build precision single-and double-sided grinding, lapping and polishing machines. They are used for production of plano and spherical workpieces as prisms, precision plano optics, semiconductor substrates or different kinds of lenses.
The machines are programmable as well as fully CNC or NC-controlled. This helps you improving process stability, process repeatability and product quality. The machines are optimized for processing glass, ceramics and crystals.

We build customized machines for manual chamfering, grinding, lapping and polishing which are also suitable for manual flatness or wedge correction. These work stations are made of a traverse stiffened aluminum profile construction with a hard-wearing tabletop and are equipped with following standard features:
