At OWIS, we turn our customers' pioneering ideas into reality and drive progress in high-tech industries. In doing so, we rely on our high-quality standard components, our outstanding engineering expertise and our ambition to push technological boundaries.
Following the idea of our founders, we now offer a modular system of optomechanical components and positioners that can be used to simplify and customize applications in industry and science.

Beam handling systems
Beam handling components and systems form the basis for every experimental and laboratory setup. Optical experiments can be performed simply, quickly and individually at different beam heights.
Optical components
Optomechanical components include highly precise mounts and adjustment units to hold and align optical elements in the beam path. The product portfolio is complemented by optomechanical elements such as filter wheels, flip mirrors, slits and diaphragms.
Manual positioners
Manual Positioners enable precise motion sequences. Due to the versatile combination options of linear, rotary and goniometer stages, multiaxial setups can also be realized.
Motorized positioners
Motorized positioners are characterized by highest precision. With linear, rotary and goniometer stages, high-precision alignment and handling tasks can be solved in research and industry.

Compact XY stage for optical inspection
The square base is 290 mm in width, making it smaller than the height of an A4 sheet of paper. Despite its compact size, this stage enables an impressive measuring range of 205 x 205 mm.
It is driven by easy-to-use stepper motors that achieve a velocity of 50 mm/s.
GANTX
The XYZ gantry system is a versatile, powerful solution for demanding automation and manufacturing applications.
The integrated LINPOS stages with absolute measuring systems combine maximum dynamics with outstanding positioning accuracy.
A magnetic load compensation on the Z-axis enables direct-drive linear stages to be used for vertical movements.
