EPIGAP OSA Photonics GmbH stands for excellent know-how in the field of semiconductor technology and production of LED chips with a wide wavelength range. This is complemented by production of various SMDs in high power and standard configurations.

High Power SWIR-SMDs
We manufacture high-performance SMDs on ceramic substrates in the wavelength range from 700 - 2300 nm.
The SMDs can be supplied with a 20° lens or a flat encapsulation. This selection allows the components to be customized for use in specific lighting applications for industrial sensors.
High power 460 SMDs are assembled with silikone glob top for optimizes extraction efficiency. Special ceramic submount offers excellent heat dissipation.
Point Sources and Display Chips
We produce chips with smallest light spots (Ø 25µm, Ø 50µm, Ø150µm) with red or infrared wavelengths (625nm, 650nm & 850nm) for high precision miniature light barriers or monolithic displays - reflection-free, long-term stable and without disturbing bond pad in the field of view
LEDs in TO package
Traditional TOs we are mounting with lens cap or flat window cap. These hermetically sealed LEDs are reliable even at temperatures up to 120°C and work perfectly in various optical encoders.
UV LEDs in TO-Packages or SMDs are available for analytical applications in UV-C and UV-B. (Wavelength are 255 nm, 265 nm, 275 nm, 308 nm, 325 nm and 340 nm)
Services
We support flexible and high-precision bonding of various chip types and substrates. We place components on indicidual packages or utilizing flexible Chip-on-Board (CoB) processes.
We provide full-spectrum testing of optoelectronic components—covering electrical, optical, reliability, and environmental performance.
