Docter Optics manufactures and supplies customised optical semi-finished products, prototypes, samples and small series with complex surfaces in high precision for every application for the optical industry within the shortest possible time. For this purpose, we keep a stock of over 400 different types of glass in various qualities ready for you. The glass is sourced from world-renowned manufacturers such as j-plasma, Corning, Färber Schott, Nikon, Heraeus, Ohara, Hoya, Tosoh and Sumita.

We develop and manufacture (optical) components made of glass or polymer in an almost infinite variety of shapes: aspheres, freeforms, prisms, arrays, mirrors, light tunnels or precision optics. Docter Optics not only handles the assembly and delivery for you, but also the optical design and construction of complex systems on request. Docter Optics carries out complex simulations for you and designs your optical system precisely so that it fulfils all requirements and functions reliably even under demanding conditions. This starts with the selection of the materials used for the optics: We manufacture in glass or plastic and can also offer hybrid systems if required.
