About us
Avenir Photonics creates a new generation of spectroscopy for portable and industrial applications. With 15 years of experience in integrated photonics, we design spectrometers that provide a unique combination of technical performance, sophisticated software, flexibility and small size at a very competitive price. We develop customized photonic engines that also include light sources, sampling optics and embedded evaluation software. Our modular approach provides flexible systems that can easily be configured for an individual application. These solutions specifically address the requirements of portable and industrial devices, bridging the gap between laboratory and field spectroscopy.

Products & Services
The Aris spectrometer is the next step into the future of embedded spectroscopy. A laboratory-grade instrument that also meets the size, price and reliability requirements for portable and industrial applications. With its high-throughput optical design, the Aris delivers 2 to 4 times better sensitviity than other spectrometers in this price range. An optimized stray light suppression enables the measurement of larger absorbance values. The Aris offers an unsurpassed flexibility to adapt the spectrometer to the requirements of a specific application. It is available in six standard wavelength ranges that can be customized using a large choice of available diffraction gratings. With its proven reliability in rough conditions and compact size, the Aris bridges the gap between laboratory and field spectrometers.

Siena spectrometer
The Siena takes near-infrared spectroscopy to a new level. It combines the performance and flexibility of an array-based spectrometer with the size, price and reliability required for mobile applications and industrial sensors. For the first time it offers wavelength ranges up to 2100 nm with an uncooled InGaAs array sensor. This eliminates the need for a fan and reduces the overall size and power consumption.
