About us
QUBIG GmbH is a technology company in the field of scientific lasers with the focus on development and manufacturing of laser modulators and matching driver electronics for high precision laser beam conditioning. The devices are mainly used as subcomponents in larger laser systems, with the aim of quickly and precisely controlling the properties of laser light, such as its frequency, phase, polarisation and position. The application spectrum ranges from fundamental research (Quantum Science, Nuclear fusion technology, chemistry, biology) to industry (laser material processing, medicine, LifeScience microscopy). The company combines profound expertise in the areas of laser technology, crystal optics and HF- & HV electronics while having in-depth knowledge and many years of experience in various fields of quantum research/technology.

Light Modulators & matching RF/HV driver electronics for precision laser beam conditioning:
Performance overview:
- Frequency range: DC .. >20 GHz
- RF Power: up to 20GHz, 10W
- High-Voltage: kV, MHz rep.rates, ns rise/fall
- Wavelength: 200nm – 10.6um
- Laser Power: from single photons (T>99%) up to high power lasers (kW, VIS)
- Lasers operations: cw & (ultra) short pulses (fs)
Highlights:
- SMD-Technology based electro- and acousto-optic Modulators for Laser beam conditioning used in various Laser Conditioning Modules (e.g. frequency stabilisation (PDH, FM/MTS), spectroscopy, fiber lengths stabilisation, intensity control, etc.)
- Broadband phase modulators with ultra-low IL, high damage threshold for UV&VIS applications allowing large (>20GHz), continuous and precise laser frequency tuning control.
QUBIG's goal: Pushing quantum technologies outside the lab by replacing large, complex, sensitive opto-mechanic free-space setups with compact, robust, standalone Laser-Conditioning Modules (LCM).
