Compact LiDAR driver
LiDAR applications for flash or sequential flash modes are becoming more and more important. However, a flash LiDAR is a very demanding issue. Power levels of more than 1000 W with pulse durations of less than 6 ns are required. The LDP-AV XLS-Family covers a wide range of multi emitters or multi nanostack emitters. The current levels range from 180 A (4 Emitters) to more than 430 A (12 emitters) peak. The emitters from almost any manufacturer can be attached directly to the pcb. With outer dimensions of less than 19 x 20 x 5 mm the driver
fits into most applications. Having all necessary components integrated only a 12 V supply and the 5 V trigger is required. The drivers are purely passively cooled and do have an integrated thermal management.
