Class 5 Photonics delivers ultrafast, high-power laser systems and EUV technology at outstanding performance to advance research and science.
Our mission at Class 5 Photonics is to deliver ultrafast, high-power laser systems and EUV technology at outstanding performance to advance demanding applications from bio-imaging to ultrafast material science and attosecond science. Our technology platform are robust optical parametric chirped pulse amplifiers (OPCPA) delivering femtosecond pulses at extreme power at extreme wavelengths from EUV to mid-IR. Class 5 Photonics GmbH is a private company founded in 2014 as spin-off of the world-leading EUV/X-ray synchrotron laboratory Deutsches Elektronensynchrotron DESY and the Helmholtz-Institute Jena. Since over 10 years the Class 5 Photonics team builds robust optical parametric chirped pulse amplifiers (OPCPA) which already won several awards for their high performance.

The White Dwarf OPCPA for few-cycle pulses provides extremly short pulses in a compact package as next generation EUV driver. The system can be configured to provide passive CEP stability which is a great benefit for robustness and reliability in phase dependent measurements.
-< 9 fs at 800 nm @ 1 MHz
-most compact few-cycle high-power laser system
-CEP stability optional
-pumped by Coherent Monaco industrial femtosecond laser
The White Dwarf HE OPCPA is a high-performance OPCPA system at different power levels satisfying scientists in a variety of disciplines. It offers shortest pulse durations, high temporal contrast and optionally CEP stability for demanding ultrafast applications at high repetition rates.
-few-cycle pulses from 800 nm to 3 µm
-excellent temporal contrast due to OPCPA
-CEP stability
-up to 30 W output power
