Instrument Systems GmbH, founded in Munich in 1986, develops, manufactures and markets all-inone solutions for light measurement applications. Its core products are array spectrometers and imaging colorimeters. The company’s main fields of activity are LED/SSL and display metrology, spectral radiometry and photometry, where today Instrument Systems is one of the world’s leading manufacturers. The Optronik line of products for the automotive industry and traffic technology is developed and marketed at its Berlin facility. Instrument Systems has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Konica MinoIta Group since 2012.
We offer high-end array spectrometers and spectrally enhanced imaging systems for VCSEL and Display testing in the visible and infrared wavelength range. All systems are used in production lines as well as in lab environments and are absolutely calibrated. This guarantees traceability to national standards and well-defined error budgets.
On the Photonics West 2020 Instrument Systems shows the new CAS125 which has been specifically developed for time-critical measurements and a camera-based LumiTOP solution for AR/VR applications. Additionally, a calibrated infrared camera for characterization of single emitters of VCSEL arrays is displayed. Furthermore, a high resolution spectrometer-based system in combination with a specifically developed driver board for nanosecond pulses and a fast photodiode for the characterization of spectral and temporal properties of laser diodes and VCSEL can be seen at our booth # 4545 in the German Pavillon.
