This line laser with a homogeneous beam profile was developed for special applications. It is offered primarily as a customer-specific solution. It is available with a variety of aperute angles, wave lengths, output power levels and beam parameter settings. With its compact and robust design, the ilumFIBER VISION is ideally suited for integration into existing measurement systems.
New fiber testing device to localize break points, identify fibers in multi-channel cables and for multi-patching. The well-established FIBERPOINT® ET with a red laser is now also available in a green laser model: the FIBERPOINT® ET G. This ensures easier localization of break points in LWL cables with blue sheathing because the green laser makes them easier to spot. The green FIBERPOINT® ET G can be used with both rechargeable and conventional batteries.

New fiber testing device to localize break points, identify fibers in multi-channel cables and for multi-patching
The well-established FIBERPOINT® ET with a red laser is now also available in a green laser model: the FIBERPOINT® ET G. This ensures easier localization of break points in LWL cables with blue sheathing because the green laser makes them easier to spot.
The output power is < 1 mW. However, the visibility is up to 10 times better compared to the red wavelength range. The 2.5 mm universal adapter and the optional 1.25 mm adapter support connectivity with all common LWL connector systems.
The green FIBERPOINT® ET G can be used with both rechargeable and conventional batteries – yet another contribution of IMM Photonics to sustainability through the conservation of important resources.
With the simultaneous use of a green and a red FIBERPOINT®, considerable time savings can be achieved through multi-patching, which enables the user to localize two fibers in a single step. When working in CW and pulsed mode, four glass fibers can be localized at once. Like all FIBERPOINT® series fiber testers, the FIBERPOINT® ET G is available with private labelling, e.g. with the customer's logo. The FIBERPOINT® ET G will be available from the first quarter of 2020.
