greateyes GmbH is an aspiring German-based manufacturer of scientific high-performance cameras for imaging and spectroscopic applications. The company is passionate about innovative, cutting-edge technology and strives for continuous product improvement. Based on their unique platform concept, customers can choose from a large portfolio of cameras (more than 50) including various pixel formats with sensor sizes up to 16.8 megapixels. The compact detector design allows flexible integration into existing setups either as stand-alone detector or attached to a vacuum chamber. Full flexibility is particularly offered by the in-vacuum camera series designed and optimised to be operated under UHV conditions. Low-noise electronics combined with deep sensor cooling enables high dynamic range measurements for most-demanding applications, with excellent sensitivities ranging from the X-ray through EUV to the VIS and NIR spectral region.

The cameras combine scientific, highly sensitive CCD sensors and ultra-low noise electronics for optimal detection of weak signals and measurements with high dynamic range. They can be used as detectors for a broad range of applications in the industrial and scientific community.
VUV EUV X-ray camera

Based on a unique platform concept, greateyes offers a portfolio of scientific cameras with vacuum interface for imaging and spectroscopy in the VUV, EUV, soft and hard X-ray range. Incoming photons are directly detected by the CCD sensor. Beside the precise measurement of high energy radiation, the detectors exhibit a high sensitivity in the ranges NIR, VIS and UV as well.

NIR VIS UV camera

Based on a unique platform concept, greateyes offers a portfolio of scientific cameras for imaging and spectroscopy in the UV, VIS and NIR range. The deep-cooled, high-performance CCD detectors are very compact. They combine highly sensitive sensors with ultra-low noise 16-bit electronics for optimal detection of weak signals. Select among different pixel formats, several sensor technologies and various sensor coatings to find the best solution for your imaging or spectroscopic application.

VUV EUV X-ray in-vacuum camera

Based on a unique platform concept, greateyes offers a portfolio of scientific in-vacuum cameras for imaging and spectroscopy in the VUV, EUV, soft and hard X-ray range up to 20 keV. They are fabricated in stainless steel or aluminium providing excellent vacuum compatibility. A single additional flange integrates electrical and water cooling feedthroughs. Incoming photons are directly detected by the CCD sensor. No external controller is required to operate the detectors.

Cooled High-Performance sCMOS Cameras by greateyes
greateyes is proud to introduce its latest innovation, a novel high-performance scientific CMOS camera. It features a 4.2 MP back-illuminated sCMOS sensor with up to 95% quantum efficiency (QE), frame rates of up to 50 fps (full frame) and deep cooling. As the world's first back-illuminated sCMOS camera it is equipped with a GigE data interface. The camera is ideal for applications such as astronomy, quantum optics, fluorescence microscopy and super resolution microscopy as well as fast spectroscopy.
Customers have a choice of QE profiles. While the standard sensor is optimised to cover the visible spectral range from 400 to 1000nm, an option for enhanced sensitivity in the UV range between 260nm and 400nm is also available. The cameras come with a default F-Mount lens adapter but others are also available upon request. greateyes is renowned for its custom solution cameras and if you have special requirements please come and talk to us at our booth.
